Some tips to improve your vocabulary and English grammer

1. Read, read, and read The more you read -- especially novels and literary works, but also magazines and newspapers -- the more words you'll be exposed to. As you read and uncover new words, use a combination of attempting to derive meaning from the context of the sentence as well as from looking up the definition in a dictionary. 2. Keep a dictionary and thesaurus handy. Use whatever versions you prefer -- in print, software, or online. When you uncover a new word, look it up in the dictionary to get both its pronunciation and its meaning(s). Next, go to the thesaurus and find similar words and phrases -- and their opposites (synonyms and antonyms, respectively) -- and learn the nuances among the words. 3. Use a journal. It's a good idea to keep a running list of the new words you discover so that you can refer back to the list and slowly build them into your everyday vocabulary. Plus, keeping a journal of all your new words can provide positive reinforcement for learni...

What would happen if electricity travel with the speed of sound?

Image
If electricity traveled at the speed of sound, modern-day computers would be impossible. The circuits in the computers rely on the quick movement of electricity. Slowing down electricity to the speed of sound would slow down your computer by about 1,000,000 times. It would take several days for this answer to load, and a few more hours to click on the “Upvote” button. Luckily, electricity travels at almost the speed of light, so you can click the upvote button in a fraction of a second. Try it out!

Which bird donot lay egg?

Image
Turkeys. No, seriously. Because they’re so popular for Thanksgiving, farmers have been breeding male turkeys to become fatter and fatter. This causes them to lose the ability to reproduce. Well, to be more specific, they still have the ability to reproduce. However, they become so fat that they actually physically can’t breed. Don’t believe me? Let me show you… This: is a wild turkey. Now let’s look at those fat Thanksgiving turkeys: Woah! I can’t belive what Farmer John will do for money.

Why gold is worth more than silver?

Image
There are historical and modern reasons: Gold is non-reactive with other chemicals so it retains its color. Yet silver blackens, which has undesired effects. Gold has a unique color unlike other metals do. So people are fond of it and this has created more demand for it. Gold is rarer than silver and this is the main reason. When there is less supply of something and higher demand on it, then the price will be higher. Also because there are a lot more silver than gold on earth. On average, silver exists at a 17:1 ratio versus gold in the Earth’s crust.

Which country is most difficult to invade geographically

Image
I don’t know which nation is the most accurate, but I vote  Ethiopia  as the hardest nation to be ever reckon with. Why is Ethiopia a hard country to be touched on? Ethiopia for its long history is surrounded by mountains, and the only country that its geographical location possess total problem for other conquerors. Ethiopia has very harsh weather when you found surprisingly in the Horn of Africa, and Africa, you know, mostly no snow. But in Ethiopia, you won’t dare to fight in such 50 Celcius degrees. But at night or winter, it can be -15 Celcius degrees. Ethiopia has many different and hidden caves people have never explored itself. These caves are definitely useful, as since Ethiopian ancient civilization, connected with each other. Legends say Ethiopia is the land where caves and caves and caves, it is a maze. You don’t know if any Ethiopians would surprisingly shoot you from back. Ethiopia also sustains a very gallant and, also, strong military force througho...
